Joel Lindahl collected three hits in four at bats, as Derby Twins defeated Kingman Islanders 8-2 on Tuesday. Joel Lindahl hit a home run to left field in the third inning, doubled in the seventh inning, and singled in the first inning.

 

A fielder's choice by Tyson Owens put Derby Twins on the board in the top of the first.

 

Hayden Oviatt homered to left field, which helped Kingman Islanders tie the game at one in the bottom of the second.

 

A home run to left field by Joel Lindahl gave Derby Twins the lead, 3-1, in the top of the third.

 

Alejandro Vanegas stepped on the hill first for Derby Twins. The pitcher gave up four hits and two runs over five innings, striking out two and walking three. Colby Arensdorf stepped on the hill first for Kingman Islanders. The righty surrendered nine hits and six runs (five earned) over six and two-thirds innings, striking out one and walking two. Brandon Enders and Teddy Judkins each came on in relief for Derby Twins and shutdown Kingman Islanders.

 

Derby Twins piled up 11 hits in the game. Rolen Driskoll, Caden Richards, and Tyson Owens each collected multiple hits for Derby Twins. Derby Twins stole four bases in the game. Derby Twins turned two double plays in the game. Derby Twins didn't commit a single error in the field. Tyson Owens had the most chances in the field with 15.

 

Garryn Plummer and Hayden Oviatt each collected two hits for Kingman Islanders. Garryn Plummer and Hayden Oviatt each drove in one run for Kingman Islanders. Kingman Islanders turned one double play in the game.

 

Derby Twins play at home on Wednesday against Kingman Islanders 18O in their next game.
