Great Bend Bat Cats opened the scoring in the first after one run scored on a stolen base and two errors.

In the top of the third inning, Derby Twins went back into the lead after Great Bend Bat Cats committed an error, and Tyson Owens singled to the left side of the infield, each scoring one run.

Derby Twins added two more runs in the top of the fifth inning on three hits. Rolen Driskoll hit a solo home run to center field, and Cade Sutherland hit into a double play, but one run scored.

Derby Twins added four runs on four hits and two walks in the top of the ninth. Rolen Driskoll walked, Caden Richards singled, then Joel Lindahl singled to score one run. Damien Garcia singled to score one run. Cade Sutherland doubled to score one run. Cooper Scott walked to load the bases, then Noah Allison hit a sacrifice fly to score one run.

Great Bend Bat Cats added three runs in three hits and an error in the bottom of the ninth for the final 8-4 score.

Alejandro Vanegas opened the game for Derby Twins. The starting pitcher allowed four hits and one run over five and one-third innings, striking out five and walking four. Elijah Lang opened the game for Great Bend Bat Cats. The hurler gave up nine hits and five runs (three earned) over eight innings, striking out five and walking one. Carter Kutz appeared in relief for Derby Twins.

Derby Twins piled up 13 hits in the game. Cade Sutherland drove the middle of the lineup, leading Derby Twins with two runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 1-for-4 on the day. Tyson Owens went 3-for-5 at the plate to lead Derby Twins in hits. Joel Lindahl and Damian Garcia each collected multiple hits for Derby Twins.

Peanut Brazzle led Great Bend Bat Cats with two hits in five at bats from the leadoff position. Great Bend Bat Cats turned two double plays in the game.
