Even though Derby Twins collected 13 hits to Haysville Aviators's 11, they still fell 11-8 on Wednesday. Caden Richards led Derby Twins with four hits.

Derby Twins collected 13 hits and Haysville Aviators had 11 in the high-scoring affair.

Derby Twins jumped out to the lead in the top of the third inning after Tyson Owens singled, scoring one run, and Noah Allison doubled, scoring two runs.

Haysville Aviators scored five runs on five hits in the bottom of the fifth inning. Kayden Anderson singled, scoring one run, Cale Ortner singled, scoring one run, Gam Jones singled, scoring one run, and Owen Rush doubled, scoring two runs.

Derby Twins took the lead, 8-5, in the top of the sixth thanks to singles by Ramon Martinez, and Joel Lindahl.

Haysville Aviators took the lead in the bottom of the sixth. Cale Ortner hit a grand slam to left field, to give Haysville Aviators the lead, 9-8.

Alejandro Vanegas started the game for Derby Twins. The pitcher surrendered six hits and five runs (two earned) over five innings, striking out none and walking one. Bryson Lake stepped on the hill first for Haysville Aviators. The starter surrendered seven hits and five runs (four earned) over five innings, striking out five and walking two.

Derby Twins tallied 13 hits in the game. Noah Allison and Joel Lindahl each drove in two runs for Derby Twins. Cooper Scott and Ramon Martinez each collected multiple hits for Derby Twins. Derby Twins turned one double play in the game.

Haysville Aviators piled up 11 hits in the game. Cale Ortner led Haysville Aviators with five runs batted in from the number eight spot in the lineup. The right-handed hitter went 3-for-4 on the day. Braden Horn, Owen Rush, and Gam Jones each collected multiple hits for Haysville Aviators.
