Twins Secure Win Against Bat Cats

Derby Twins opened the scoring in the third after Kade Sheldon doubled, scoring three runs.
Cade Sutherland earned the win for Derby Twins. The righty gave up one hit and one run over six innings, striking out five and walking two. Carson Bougher took the loss for Great Bend Bat Cats. The starting pitcher went five innings, giving up four runs (three earned) on two hits, striking out one and walking three. Justin Zerger pitched three innings of scoreless ball for Derby Twins in relief. The hurler allowed one hit, striking out four and walking two.
Kade Sheldon provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Derby Twins with three runs batted in. The left fielder went 1-for-3 on the day. Kade Sheldon and Tyson Owens each collected one hit for Derby Twins. Joel Lindahl led Derby Twins with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, accumulating eight walks for the game. Derby Twins turned one double play in the game. Derby Twins were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Rolen Driskoll had the most chances in the field with 10.
TJ Shaw Jr and Andrugh Yee were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected one hit for Great Bend Bat Cats while hitting back-to-back. Andrugh Yee led Great Bend Bat Cats with one run batted in. The right-handed hitter went 1-for-4 on the day.
