Twins Secure Win Against Bat Cats

Derby Twins got on the board in the bottom of the second inning after Noah Allison singled down the left field line, Grady Clements singled down the left field line, Caden Richards singled to center field, and Joel Lindahl walked, each scoring one run.
Haysville Aviators tied the game in the top of the fifth thanks to a walk by Easton Norris, a sacrifice fly by Owen Rush, a walk by Braden Horn, and a single by Julian Hernandez.
Derby Twins took the lead in the bottom of the fifth. Matt Hamond hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, to give Derby Twins the advantage, 5-4.
Two more Derby Twins runs crossed the plate in the sixth inning to extend the lead to 7-4. Cade Sutherland hit a solo home run to left field, and Tyson Owens tripled, scoring one run.
Kai Fitak stepped on the bump first for Derby Twins. The pitcher surrendered one hit and zero runs over four innings, striking out six and walking one. Bennett Percival started on the hill for Haysville Aviators. The righty allowed five hits and four runs over three innings, striking out one and walking three. Peyton Walters, Ian Edwards, and Justin Zerger each came on in relief for Derby Twins and shutdown Haysville Aviators.

Joel Lindahl paced Derby Twins with three walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, tallying seven walks for the game.
Julian Hernandez, Easton Norris, and Owen Rush each collected one hit for Haysville Aviators. Owen Rush went 1-for-4 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in. Jacob Soha paced Haysville Aviators with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, piling up seven walks for the game.
