LONG TIME FED WIRICK RE-SIGNS WITH FORT WAYNE

Fort Wayne, IN - Fort Wayne Native, Cam Wirick has re-signed with the Federals to finish his junior career where it all began. "I'm very excited to return for my final year in my hometown in front of family and friends" said Wirick Friday. Wirick has played in Fort Wayne for parts of all four seasons of the Fed's existence.  He first appeared in the inaugural season of 2010-2011 scoring two goals in six games played.  Wirick became a full time Fed the following years playing in the next three seasons in his hometown collecting 64 goals, 62 assists and 117 points in 126 games played.  Wirick ranks second in goals (67), second in points (119), third in assists (62) and third in games played (132) in the Feds all time record book. 
 
This signing marks the first signing by new Head Coach and General Manager Scott Fankhouser who had this to say about the signing, "I am very excited to have Cam back in a Federal uniform.  After speaking with him and watching him play I know this is going to be a great season for him.  As one of the older players he will be a great leader on and off the ice".
