Blair Beck begins his fourth season with the ThunderBolts and his fifth as a pro in 2018. He signed with Windy City on April 4, 2016 and appeared in 266 games, playing six different positions in his first three years with the ThunderBolts. He enters 2019 with a .221 batting average, 19 home runs and 31 stolen bases in his Bolts' career. He began his pro career when he signed as an undrafted free agent with the Tampa Bay Rays out of the University of Kansas. He played in 39 games across two rookie level affiliates in 2015. Blair batted .262 with a .741 OPS over two seasons at Kansas. He hit eight home runs and slugged .466 as a senior, when he was named All-Big 12 Honorable Mention. Prior to Kansas, he spent two years at Midland College, where he hit .385 as a sophomore. He attended Midland High School in Midland, Texas.
