Long Island Stays Undefeated Heading into Playoffs

BOSTON (April 13, 2017)- The United Women’s Lacrosse League (UWLX) has announced the hiring multiple coach of the year winner Andrew Fink as the new General Manager for the Boston Storm.
Coach Fink is in his 14th year as head coach of the Mount Ida College men’s lacrosse team. He is a three time coach of the year and he and his staff have presented at LaxCon on seven different occasions. Andrew is also the Co-owner of his own business, and brings a wealth of knowledge in what it takes to be successful both on and off the field.
“I am honored to be named GM of the Boston Storm,” said Fink, “I want to help the franchise grow to another professional leave and continue to compete for UWLX Championships.”

The Boston Storm, runners-up in the inaugural season, look to grow on that and contend again for the league championship in year two.
The league will be hosting it’s second annual Draft Party on April 17th in New York City, presented by Coors Brewing Company.
The Storm’s new season will kick-off on Saturday May 27th with a matchup against the Philadelphia Force during the 2017 NCAA Final Four weekend.
