During the UWLX offseason, we are asking a few questions of our players to give you a little bit more background on them. First up, we have Boston Storm goalie Liz Hogan.

Talk about the sense of pride you have in being one of the founding players and trailblazers of professional women’s lacrosse in the USA.

LH: It is an absolute dream come true to be able to play for the first-ever professional women's lacrosse league. It's something you only dream about growing up, and hope that your kids have an opportunity to play in, but just absolutely mind blowing that the opportunity exists while you're still playing.

In your lifetime, what has been your most memorable or all-time favorite lacrosse moment?

LH: My most memorable moment was getting my first assist (I'm a goalie) my freshman year against UNC. It gave us the go-ahead goal and took our team to the program's first ever final four.

If you had one message for young girls who are playing lacrosse, what would it be?

LH: Never give up on your dreams. There will be set backs, hard times and days you'll want to quit, but never give up. Be fearless in your pursuit of the unknown.

Make sure to catch Liz and the rest of the world class players of the United Women's Lacrosse League when the UWLX plays its second season in the summer of 2017!
