Wildcats end losing streak with thrilling walkoff win over...
Date: Apr 25, 2015
With Opening Day over two months away, the Finneytown Wildcats already have their eyes set on achieving something they haven't been able to accomplish in their time in the Cincinnati Hills League; a conference championship. After graduating just two seniors from last year's 11-10 squad, the Wildcats will look to an experienced core of players to lead them. The 2014 Wildcats consisted of four freshmen and four sophomores, all of which will be returning for the 2015 season. However, the key to this year's success may rely on the 6 seniors on the roster. Catcher Sam Brumett and Infielder Michael Whitt lead the way as they look to finish their high school careers on a high note. The task won't be easy as the Wildcats will need to go surpass a Madeira team that loses just 3 seniors from last year's conference championship squad. But as optional workouts begin, this year's group looks to be up to the challenge.
