Ironmen get shut out, lose 2-0

Date:  Source: Lorain County Ironmen

It was a dominant outing for the Lima Locos starter pitcher as Zach Graveno threw a complete game three hit shutout as the Ironmen fell 2-0.

Lorain County never even got a man to third base as Graveno allowed just six runners to reach base and induced two double plays in the game to help stifle the Ironmen.

Tyler Gault started the game for Lorain County and he went toe-to-toe with Graveno as he went six innings and allowed just two runs on three hits.

The Locos scored a run in the bottom of the first inning after a throwing error by Gault. The Locos tacked on another run in the fifth inning to make it 2-0 and that was all they needed.

The loss drops Lorain County to 7-16 on the year and the win brings the Locos to a league best 16-5.
