Lorain County scored four in the first inning to take an early lead against the Steam and they held on to win 8-6 for their second straight win.

The Ironmen picked up right where they left off after a 15 run outburst on Thursday night they plated six runs in the first two innings against Mitch Gremling, the Cincinnati ace and they jumped out to a 6-2 lead.

The Steam battled back with four unanswered runs to tie the game up at six in the sixth inning.

The Ironmen then came back to load the bases with nobody out in the bottom of the eighth inning and they were able to push two runs across to take a 8-6 lead.

Justin Liserio came on in the ninth and set the Steam down in order to get his first save of the season as the Ironmen got their 11th win on the year.
