Alan Butler’s 12U Ontario Prospects finished 2^nd place in the Ohio Summer Series tournament in Solon, Ohio the weekend of July 4-7! The road to the final was tough but the Prospects managed to score enough runs to come out on top and proceed to a semi-final game where they would play a team who the Prospects lost by one run in pool play. With a chance to come back, the whole team battled behind Cal Brazier who pitched a complete game for a 4-1 win and a spot in the Championship game.  The Ohio Prospects proved to be a tough opponent and Alan’s 12U team would finish 2^nd overall.

Weekend highlights included a solid pitching performance by Liam Kelly, who threw a complete game for a 7-3 win.  Cal Brazier hit .666 including two doubles & Nathan Scragg slugged his way to a .455 average which included a bases clearing triple and a double.  Congratulations Prospects!
