Prospects alumni, Ryan Kellogg threw a no-hitter for the Arizona State Sun Devils to pitch his team to a 4-0 win over the Oregon State Beavers on Saturday.

Kellogg had a perfect game going into the 7th inning but an infield error led to the first baserunner of the game. Another Oregon batter reached base on an outfield error in the 8th. The freshman managed to strike out three batters and allowed no walks while throwing 110 pitches.

The 19-year-old's perfect game was broken up with one out in the seventh inning after an error by the shortstop allowed an Oregon batter to reach first.

"It feels incredible. It hasn't really sunk in completely yet, but just knowing that I'm part of history now for ASU baseball and having a great weekend like this, it's definitely a special feeling for me," said Kellogg in a YouTube video.

The Canadian junior national team star was drafted the 12th round of the 2012 amateur baseball draft by the Toronto Blue Jays but decided to go the school route.

It was the first ASU no-hitter since 1993 and eighth overall in the school's history.

Kellogg is off to a sensational start and has a 5-0 this season for 20th-ranked ASU. It was just the second loss of the season and first in conference play for third-ranked Oregon.

Kellogg has pitched in 6 games has an ERA of 0.71 in 38 innings, has struck 23 and walked five and has only allowed 3 runs this season. Opponents are hitting just 1.29.

Congratulations Ryan on this incredible accomplishment. We are all so very proud of you here!!!!
