Ontario Prospects alumni, Ryan Kellogg, has continued his success at the next level. Currently rated by Perfect Game Scouting as #34 college freshman in the nation and #57 for the upcoming 2015 MLB draft. Below is an article in the AZ Central news about Ryan's recent accomplishments at Arizona State University.

Freshman Ryan Kellogg is expected to move into the Arizona State starting pitching rotation this weekend at Tennessee.

The 6-foot-5 left-hander from Ontario, Canada, threw four scoreless innings of relief in his ASU debut last week, picking up a win over Bethune-Cookman. He was a 12th-round draft pick by Toronto — the highest drafted recruit not to sign — out of Henry Street High School and was the Canadian junior national team’s most valuable player.

“Ryan threw really well,” ASU coach Tim Esmay said. “He showed us he could be in the mix as far as starting. I would imagine we might go down that path and give him that opportunity.”

Kellogg is likely to replace sophomore Darin Gillies as the Sunday starter. Gillies, who made 10 starts last season, was knocked out in the second inning last week and charged with five runs. No. 20 ASU rallied from a 6-1 deficit but lost that game 7-6 for a 2-1 opening weekend.
