In Game 1, the Skyhawks held the Captains to just a single run en rout to a 4-1 victory. In Game 2, the Skyhawks were held scoreless as the Captains tied the NWBL Championship up a 1-1 with a 2-0 victory.

Ant Peluso was excellent on the mound despite suffering the loss. He threw a no-hitter into the fifth inning before the Captains used several hits to plate two runs, the only two runs scored in the game.

Steve Coral continued to dominate from the mound with a complete game shutout. 

With the 2-0 victory, the Captains now head Highview to play games three and four away. The same starters of Game 1 are scheduled to meet up again.
