The National Wiffleball League Association's annual tournament to crown the nation's best wiffleball team has kicked off. The National Wiffleball League saw the Lackawanna Rapids, Capalbo Captains, and Highview Skyhawks get seeded in this year's edition. The Captains drew a 2-seed, the Hawks earned a 6-seed, and the Rapids drew a 13-seed. 

After the first round of voting, the Capalbo Captains and Highview Skyhawks are the two remaining NWBL teams. The Lackawanna Rapids were defeated by the 4-seed Batters from the GBL. 

The Captains now face-off against the 7-seed Belly Itchers of the KWL while the Hawks match-up against WATL's Rough Riders, who finished 13-5 and were a 3-seed.
