Robinson Toledo Signs With Skyhawks

With the loss of Casey Hanley to the Dowling Bobcats, the Highview Skyhawks needed to compensate for the loss quickly. On Monday, the Skyhawks announced the signing of Robinson Toledo to a one-year deal for the 2013 season.

Despite poor statistics from the mound, Toledo's bat was productive enough to earn him this season's Rookie of the Year award. Toledo crushed 18 homeruns and drove in 58 RBIs for a team that won only six games.

With Casey Hanley taking his bat out of the lineup, the Skyhawks pulled off a bold move signing Toledo, who will surely bring some much needed firepower to the Hawks.

The Skyhawks will sport a roster that could propel themselves to another East Division Championship, one that includes the names of Shawn Maguire, Shane Hanley, and Robinson Toledo.
