The Highview Skyhawks have announced the signing of Shane Hanley and the re-signing of Ant Peluso. Peluso has been a member of the Skyhawks franchise since their inaugural season in 2009. Hanley has played for the Rapids over the past five seasons. Both players have signed one-year deals.

The Skyhawks vastly improved with the signing of Hanley, who has been one of the league's best players in recent seasons. On the hill, Hanley has compiled a 74-36 record with 443 strikeouts.

During his tenure with the Rapids, Hanley was 33-9 with 230 strikeouts. He won a Cy Young award in 2009 when he finished the year 9-1 with a record 0.65 ERA.

Peluso has been a mainstay with Highview. His best season came in 2010 when he compiled 109 singles and 11 homeruns, driving in 71 runners.

With these these two new signings, the Skyhawks continue to bolster a talented roster. The Skyhawks will remain a threat in the NWBL.
