The National Wiffleball League Association has released its Week 18 rankings. Unlike the previous weeks, the  Lackawanna Rapids have fallen off the rankings as the Skyhawks and Captains continue to rise through the ranks.

The Capalbo Captains, despite earning a bid to the NWBL Championship in a closely fought series, dropped to #6 this week. Last week, the Captains sat one spot higher. 

The Lackawanna Rapids fall off the NWLA rankings for the second time this season. It is also the second time the Rapids have fallen off the rankings since 2009. 

The only other NWBL team that has consistently risen through the NWLA rankings are the 2012 NWBL East Champions, the Highview Skyhawks. The Skyhawks moved up six spots to #17 this week.
