Last season, Steve Coral took home his first and only award, the 2011 Rookie of the Year award. On Thursday, Coral was named winner of this season's Gold Glove Outfield award.

Coral was exceptional in the outfield. The NWBL believes that he was errorless in the outfield this season, if not, he errored once of twice all season.

With the award, Coral becomes the fifth NWBL player to take home this award, and just the third different player since 2005. Nick Swangler, who won the award in the previous four seasons, was not in the running this season.
