Dixie State Infielder Joe Raymond Returning to Heat

Chico, CA:  The Chico Heat have announced the return of infielder Joe Raymond, from Dixie State University for the 2017 summer season.  Raymond, from Foresthill, CA is in his second year with the Trailblazers.

Summer 2016:  Appeared in 18 games for the Heat before suffering a season ending injury on June 23 … helped solidify the left side of the infield until reinforcements arrived from the schools that were in NCAA Regional and Super Regional Division 1 playoffs … definitely a fan favorite with his constant smile …

2016:  Came off the bench to play in four games and went hitless in five at-bats with one RBI … drove in his first collegiate run at Academy of Art (3/15).
