Chico, CA:  The Chico Heat have announced the addition of catcher Kreston Woods from Hawaii Pacific University to the 2017 summer roster.  Woods, from Tempe, AZ is in his first year with the Sharks after spending two years at Paradise Valley Community College in Phoenix, AZ.

2016: Appeared in 37 games, making 35 starts for Paradise Valley College... Hit .295 on the year in 105 at-bats, slugging five doubles and one triple, driving in 15... Had a .362 slugging percentage and a .390 on base percentage…

2015:  Appeared in 28 games for Paradise Valley College … Hit .329 on the year in 79 at-bats, slugging two doubles and one triple, driving in 13 … Had a .380 slugging percentage and a .404 on base percentage…
