Chico, CA:  The Chico Heat have announced the addition of infielder Bailey Zimmer from Missouri Western University to the 2017 summer roster.  Zimmer, from Edwardsville, IL is in his first year with the Griffons after spending one year at Illinois Central College in East Peoria, IL.

2016: Appeared in 25 games, making 20 starts for Illinois Central College... Hit .235 on the year in 68 at-bats, slugging three doubles and one home run, scoring 12 runs, and driving in 17... Had seven RBI while going 4-4 against Hannibal LaGrange on March 16 … Illinois Central went 17-8 in games Zimmer played in. 

Evansville HS '15:  Two-year letter winner for the Tigers...
