Chico, CA:  The Chico Heat have announced the addition of outfielder Jordan Vujovich from the University of Oregon to the 2017 summer roster.  Vujovich, from Sacramento, CA is in his first year with the Ducks after graduating from Granite Bay High School.

PERSONAL:  Major is human physiology … Father is David.

HIGH SCHOOL
A three-year letterman and 2016 graduate of Granite Bay High School … Selected first-team all-metro by the Sacramento Bee as a senior … Hit .413 with 13 doubles, 14 RBI and .560 on-base-percentage to help lead Granite Bay to a CIF Sac-Joaquin Section quarterfinal appearance … As a junior, hit .233 with 11 RBI, four doubles and two triples for the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section runner up squad … Went 2-for-3 with two RBI, a double and a triple in Granite Bay’s 6-0 quarterfinal win over Elk Grove … Batted .310 with six RBI and a .487 on-base-percentage as a sophomore … Selected California Region honorable mention by Perfect Game  Named a team captain as a senior … High school baseball coach was Pat Esposito.
