Chico, CA: The Chico Heat have announced the addition of BYU infielder Brian Hsu to the 2017 summer roster. Hsu, from San Ramon, CA is in his second year with the Cougars after graduating from Dougherty Valley High in 2014. Hsu played in 13 games in 2015 for the Cougars, starting seven.
PERSONAL: Born in Los Angeles to G-Jen and Helen Hsu ... Ethnic origin is Chinese and Korean ... Likes to play ping pong ... Was a three-year letter winner at Dougherty Valley High School in San Ramon, California … In three years of Varsity baseball, he batted .316 over 228 plate appearances … Scored 46 runs with an on base percentage of .370.
