December 14, 2016 – Chico, CA
The rings were custom manufactured by Signature Style Jewelry, one of the leading providers of high-end custom jewelry for college sports teams.
The rings commemorate the Heat’s outstanding 2016 season and celebrate the team’s triumphant two games to one victory in the Great West League Championship Series that took place in Medford, OR on August 14, 2016.
These rings will forever be a reminder of the commitment and dedication that these kids displayed over the summer of 2016” said Heat General Manager Hunter Hampton.
This one-of-a-kind ring is loaded with bling and features the Heat’s Flaming H baseball logo on the bezel and reads “Great West League Champions.” One side of the ring has the Chico Heat prominently displayed over the Great West League logo and the other side is customized with the name and position of each player, coach or staff member.
Major League Hall of Famer and owning partner of the Chico Heat, Pat Gillick said “the championship rings are special because 2016 was the inaugural season of the Great West League and the first year bringing baseball back to Chico. We really want to thank our loyal fans for their support and we hope do it again in 2017"
