Josh Williams had two extra base hits, helping the DuPage Drones (22-19) to a 6-3 victory over the Quincy Gems (19-23) on Thursday at Benedictine Sports Complex.
He doubled in the third and fifth innings and singled in the eighth inning.The Quincy Gems' lineup had no answer for Anthony Olson. The Quincy Gems managed just one hit off of Olson, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out five during his two innings of work.
