A solo home run by Matt Elliott, an RBI single by Logan Geha, , and an RBI single by Joseph Vyskocil during the first inning and an RBI single by Jake Anchia and a two-run single by Josh Williams in the second inning supplied the early offense for the DuPage Drones.

Aaron Meyer got a hit in each of his three at bats. He tripled in the second inning and singled in the first and third innings.

Sam Huser ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in 1 1/3 innings, walked two and struck out one.
