Two goals from Alisha Difilippo and one point from Monica Darby allow Rhode Island to draw with Massachusetts, 3-3 (OT).

The Minutemen forced the Rams freshmen goalie Abigail Torres to work between the pipes, taking 47 shots. 

Massachusetts led by Brittani Lanzilli, who tallied two goals and one assist. Lanzilli scored the first of his two goals at 3:16 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Joanna Olson picked up the assist. Lanzilli's next tally made the score 3-2 Massachusetts with 8:32 left in the third period. Massachusetts University of also got points from Michaela Tosone, who also registered one goal and one assist.

Rhode Island Rams put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Minutemen to score on any of their six power plays.

More assists for Rhode Island came via Brenna Callahan, who had two and Caitlin McGuirl and Kristen Levesque, who each chipped in one.

Samantha Baturin recorded 18 saves for Massachusetts. The Minutemen incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Rhode Island incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.The Rams' Torres stopped 44 shots out of the 47 that she faced.
