Rams Travel Back to Michigan for 3 Game Series

BURLINGTON, VT- The Vermont Catamounts' Emily Ford scored 38 seconds into overtime to beat the URI Rams, 2-1 (OT).
Ford had a great game for Vermont, netting two goals.
The Catamounts managed to stay out of the box better than usual, racking up one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Vermont wound up below its season average of 8.0 penalty minutes per game.
Rhode Island did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. The Rams average 3.8 goals per game.
Rhode Island University of was led by Sydney Collins, who scored the team's only goal. Collins scored 9:25 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Rhode Island University of. Brenna Callahan assisted on the tally.
The Catamounts registered zero goals on two power play opportunities. The Rams incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
