Huge game by Neumann boosts Minnesota over Billings, 4-0

The Minnesota Flying Aces' Blake Neumann had a big offensive game, scoring one goal and contributing two assists in his team's 4-0 win over the Billings Bulls.

Neumann scored 13:45 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Minnesota. Jake Mullendore picked up the assist. Neumann dished an assist on Matt Olson's goal that made the score 3-0 Minnesota at 16:26 into the second period. He added another helper on Tyler Arenz's goal that made the score 4-0 Minnesota at 16:39 into the second period.

Minnesota's offense rang up 36 shots on Billings' net. The Flying Aces cashed in on power play opportunities, scoring two goals on three chances. Minnesota's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals.

Minnesota also got points from Arenz, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Minnesota also got a goal from Lucas Mutschelknaus as well. Other players who recorded assists for Minnesota were Bradee Thompson, Jesse Brown, and AJ Gullickson, who each chipped in one.

The Bulls did not reach the goal total they have come to expect this season. Billings averages 3.3 goals per game.

The Flying Aces' Dakota McDonald stopped 18 shots out of the 18 that he faced. Minnesota incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Ray Smith made 32 saves for the Bulls on 36 shots. Billings incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
