The Bozeman Icedogs had trouble finding ways to stop the Pittsburgh Vengeance, which beat Icedogs, 7-2.

Pittsburgh's offense was sparked by Eli Lynn, as he ended with three assists in a victory against Bozeman.

The Vengeance's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Bozeman power plays. Pittsburgh bested its season scoring average. The Vengeance have scored at the pace of 3.4 goals per game during the current campaign. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.

Pittsburgh additionally got points from Nils Markgren, who also registered one goal and one assist. Pittsburgh also had goals scored by Parker Henry, who had two and Bryan Hovanec, Brennan Conway, Jake Salak, and Gavin Cummings, who each put in one. In addition, Pittsburgh received assists from Richard Doherty, who had one and Nathaniel Schwartz and Michael Straub, who each chipped in two.

Kyle Plantz recorded 17 saves for Pittsburgh. The Vengeance incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Steven Frank made 22 saves for the Icedogs on 29 shots. Bozeman incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
