The Allan Cup Hockey league announced today that Steelhawks forward Kevin Rebelo has been named the ACH Player of the Month for January 2017.

Rebelo, in his second-year with the Steelhawks, tallied 14 points, six goals and eight assists, over six games during the month of January.  In all but one of the six games Rebelo would pick up multiple points included a hat trick against the Dundas Real McCoys on January 6th and a four-point game against the Thorold Athletics on January 20th.  The Hamilton native currently sits second in team scoring with 28 points this season and is one of three players leading the league with five power play goals.

The ACH will present Rebelo with his award at a later date.

The Steelhawks return home to the Dave Andreychuk Mountain Arena this Saturday night when they host the Brantford Blast starting at 7:30 PM.
