Maple Leafs Announce Postseason Schedule

Photo by R.S. Konjek | TORONTO – The Toronto Maple Leafs scored four runs in the eighth inning for a 4-3 comeback win over the Brantford Red Sox Sunday afternoon at Christie Pits.
Toronto leads the best-of-seven quarter-final 2-1.
Trailing 3-0 with two outs in the bottom of the eighth, Zac Orchard pulled the Leafs to within one with a bases-loaded single. Julian Johnson doubled home a pair of runs on a 3-1 pitch to give Toronto its first lead.
Jon Waltenbury singled twice and scored once in the win.
Justin Cicatello (1-0) went the distance, scattering four hits while walking one and striking out five. All three runs were unearned.
Nate DeSouza went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run for the Red Sox, and Chris Dennis drove in a pair.
Tanner Guindon (0-1) took the loss, allowing two runs on three hits with two strikeouts in an inning of relief. Graham Tebbit started and went six scoreless innings, allowing one hit and walking three.
