Maple Leafs Announce Postseason Schedule

TORONTO – Toronto's Damon Topolie recently passed Arden Eddie for third on the Intercounty Baseball League's all-time hit list.
Topolie, the Leafs' field manager who is also a first baseman and designated hitter, entered the season with 750 hits after 22 seasons with Stratford and Toronto. He singled in the Leafs' 9-6 loss to Kitchener July 25, which was the 770th hit of his career and moved him past Eddie, the longtime London Majors' star.
Topolie added two hits July 26 and is now 38 hits behind Kevin Hinton (790) for second all time.
Current Guelph Royals player Sean Reilly is the IBL leader with 917 hits.
