GLSCL PLAYER OF THE WEEK - June 16, 2025
Harrison Engskov - Flag City Sluggers - Arkansas State (transfer portal)
Harrison Engskov went 10-for-21 at the plate for a .476 batting average helping lead the Sluggers to its first ever series victory. In six games he drove in eight RBIs scoring eight runs with two doubles and a triple.
Engskov helped lead the Sluggers to a three-game sweep of the Muskegon Clippers June 13-15 after starting the season 0-6. Engskov leads the GLSCL with a .417 batting average through the first two weeks of the regular season.
The Little Rock, Arkansas recently completed his first season at Arkansas State and is now in the transfer portal. He started all 53 games for the Red Wolves hitting .294 with nine home runs and 35 RBIs. He previously played two season at the University of Oklahoma.

Aidyn Coffey - Hamilton Joes - Stony Brook University
Aidyn Coffey went 7-for-15 for a .467 batting average. Coffey’s slash line included a .571 slugging percentage and a .533 on-base percentage. He also scored five runs and stole four bases.
Jacob Loving - Grand Lake Mariners - Palomar College
Jacob Loving hit a .417 batting average (10-for-24) in six games. He drove in four RBIs, scored three runs with two stolen bases.
Ronnie Rowley - Southern Ohio Copperheads - Hocking College
Ronnie Rowley went 8-for-21 at the plate for a .380 batting average with triples and eight RBIs. He was especially disruptive on the base paths registering 10 stolen bases (four in one game) and scoring eight runs.

The Great Lakes Summer Collegiate, founded in 1987, is a wood-bat league that is certified by the NCAA and is partially funded by Major League Baseball. The GLSCL is a non-profit 501(c)(3) entity that is one of 12 members of the National Alliance of Collegiate Summer Baseball (NACSB). The league currently consists of 8 active franchises in Ohio and Michigan boasting several players that have earned service time in major league baseball.
