Wednesday night the White River Cobras took on the Ozark Mountain Wild in Show-Me Collegiate League action. Missouri State signee, and 23rd draft choice Wyatt Sparks started on the mound for the Cobras with Christopher Mercier starting for the Wild. The game was dominated by the Cobras pitching staff with 5 pitchers combining for 3 hits, 0 runs, and 11 strikeouts. Logan Berlof (2-2, 1 run, 1 2B, 3 BB, and 3 RBI’s) and Kaleb Baker (2-3, 2 runs, 1 RBI) led the offense for the Cobras while the Wild were led by Ben Sellers (2-4).

The White River Cobras move to 5-4-2 on the year and sole possession of 2nd place while the Ozark Mountain Wild fall to third place with an overall record of 5-5. Both teams will finish off their weekday series on Friday night.
