Mt. Lebanon downs Penn-Trafford in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

Blake McConnell gave Mt. Lebanon a 3-2 (OT) victory over Penn-Trafford when he scored 4:50 into the extra period.

Mt. Lebanon was paced by McConnell, who registered one goal.

Mt. Lebanon managed to stay out of the box better than usual, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Mt. Lebanon finished below its season average of 9.0 penalty minutes per game. Mt. Lebanon's offense rang up 44 shots on Penn-Trafford's net.

Mt. Lebanon also got points from Wyatt George, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Nathan Enterline also scored for Mt. Lebanon. In addition, Mt. Lebanon received assists from Benjamin McGraw and Ryan Gist, who contributed one each.

Penn-Trafford put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Mt. Lebanon to score on any of its three power plays.

Penn-Trafford was helped by Nathan Mickey, who had one goal. Mickey scored 11:41 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Penn-Trafford. Samuel Costellic provided the assist. Penn-Trafford also got a goal from Benjamin Lasich as well.

Ryan Wessbecher made 26 saves for Mt. Lebanon on 28 shots. Alec Pevornik rejected 41 shots on goal for Penn-Trafford. Penn-Trafford incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
