Hampton beats Penn-Trafford 8-3 as Weinbrenner gets hat trick

Justin Weinbrenner lifted Hampton to an 8-3 victory with a hat trick against Penn-Trafford.

Weinbrenner got on the scoresheet 2:17 into the second period. He then added goals at 4:29 into the third and at 10:04 into the third.

Penn-Trafford's Alec Pevornik could not handle what Hampton threw at him, as Hampton netted its goals off of 13.

Hampton also got points from Luke Cirlingione, who also tallied one goal and two assists and Daniel Grob, who also registered one goal and one assist. Justin Adamski also scored for Hampton. In addition, Hampton received assists from Daniel White, who had three and Spencer Homitz, Jason Reinert, William Meglio, Kyle Spencer, and Ryan Bates, who each chipped in one.

Penn-Trafford was led by Nathan Mickey, who grabbed two goals and one assist. Mickey scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 11:13 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Ashton Adamek picked up the assist. Mickey's next tally on the power play made the score 4-3 Hampton with 18:55 left in the third period. Samuel Costellic assisted on the tally. Penn-Trafford also got a goal from Matthew Simkovic as well. More assists for Penn-Trafford came via Justin Proskin and Brett Schugt, who contributed one each.

Kameron Bott rejected 15 shots on goal for Hampton. Hampton incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Alec Pevornik made five saves for Penn-Trafford on 13 shots. Penn-Trafford incurred 30 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
