Mickey, Eisenstat dominate State College, lead Penn-Trafford to 9-4 win

Behind two goals and four assists from Nathan Mickey and three goals and one assist from Jordan Eisenstat, Penn-Trafford downed State College 9-4.

Mickey scored the first of his two goals at 10:52 into the first period to make the score 3-1 Penn-Trafford. Eisenstat picked up the assist. Mickey's next tally made the score 5-2 Penn-Trafford with 5:54 left in the first period. Penn-Trafford had taken the advantage when State College's Nicolas Fleming-Collado got sent off for hooking. Matt Stumpf provided the assist.

State College's six penalties came back to haunt it, as State College let up four goals while on the penalty kill.

Penn-Trafford kept State College's goalie busy throughout the game, and Christopher Rosselot made 28 saves on 37 shots. Penn-Trafford outdid its season average for goals scored. Penn-Trafford averages 2.6 goals per game.

Penn-Trafford additionally got points from Eisenstat, who also had three goals and one assist and Stumpf, who also registered one goal and one assist. Penn-Trafford also got a goal from James Gojkovich as well. More assists for Penn-Trafford came via Dylan Baker and Brett Schugt, who each chipped in one and Jacob Graffius and Ben Lasich, who contributed two each.

State College forced Penn-Trafford goalie Alec Pevornik to work between the pipes, taking 41 shots. State College surpassed its usual scoring output this season. This season, State College averages 1.9 goal per contest.

State College was led by Andrew Moscone, who racked up three goals. Petr Horgas also scored for State College. In addition, State College received assists from Andrew Skipper, who had two and Tanner Leahey, Michael Ondik, Mark Timney, and Tyler Broderick, who each chipped in one.
