Penn-Trafford allowed Upper St. Clair to net five goals during the second period and fell, 8-1.

Upper St. Clair got the win with help from a great game by Austin Cassidy, who had four goals and two assists. Cassidy's first goal came 4:30 into the first period. He then added goals at 11:51 into the first, at 40 seconds into the second, and at 12:55 into the third.

Upper St. Clair's penalty kill excelled, as Upper St. Clair gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays.

Upper St. Clair stifled Penn-Trafford's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Penn-Trafford was unable to stop Upper St. Clair from sending pucks towards the net, and Upper St. Clair eventually piled up 40 shots on goal. Upper St. Clair bested its season scoring average.
