For 22 years Kathy Desjardins has been involved in the sport of hockey. When she was 18 years old, Desjardins played in the Esso Women’s Nationals for Team Quebec and proudly took home a silver medal. From 2008-2012 Desjardins furthered her hockey career and played for the Moncton Aigles Bleus (Blue Eagles) where she brought the team to victory as they earned a bronze medal at the CIS National Championships. For the past three years, Desjardins has continued to defend in net, first as a member for Team Alberta, later with the Calgary Inferno in the 2013-14 season and back again this season.

Favorite TV show: I don’t watch TV as I don’t have to time however my morning Quebec show (Salut Bonjour) while having breakfast is great

Favorite NHL team: Montreal Canadians, but Pittsburg is more my team as I like to watch Fleury in net.

Role Model or favorite athlete: Pink (Singer) she is true, not fake she says what she thinks and she is not scared of what other people think of her

Favorite activity outside of hockey: Crossfit

Favourite hockey memory: Winning the CIS bronze medal with Moncton University at my second year.

Where is your favorite place in the whole wide world: I don’t have a favorite place to be, just when I’m around my family it is my favorite place.
