Brittany Esposito is currently in her second season with the Calgary Inferno and finished 15th in scoring in the 2015/16 season. She proved to be a great find in the 2014 CWHL entry draft when Calgary selected her in the fifth round, 23rd overall. The talented forward exploded onto the scene, leading all Canadian-born rookies in points with 25 points. In that same year, Esposito made history again by competing in the inaugural CWHL All-Star Game.
Prior to joining the Inferno, Esposito played four seasons with the Northeastern University Huskies in the NCAA. During her career in Boston, Massachusetts, Esposito amassed 33 goals and 85 points in 112 games. Adding to her impressive resume, Esposito scored the first outdoor goal in NCAA women’s hockey history. In 2010, her Huskies had the opportunity to play rival University of New Hampshire at historic Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox.
