The Chugiak Chinooks (12-24) didn't stand a chance on Thursday, as the Anchorage Glacier Pilots (20-21) captured a blowout 9-0 win at Loretta French Field.

The Anchorage Glacier Pilots scored three runs in the sixth on the Anchorage Glacier Pilots scored in the sixth on an RBI triple by Chester Pak, a sacrifice fly by Kevin Viers, and an RBI double by Cameron Pongs.

Pak put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots.

The Chugiak Chinooks couldn't get anything going so long as Tyler Fox was on the hill. The Chugiak Chinooks managed just one hit off of Fox, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out five during his three innings of work.

Kyle Nelson improved to 3-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots. Nelson struck out two, walked one and gave up three hits.

Kyle McDorman (3-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked four and struck out four.

The Anchorage Glacier Pilots' Pak, Ray Guerrini, Pongs and J.J. Wagner combined for nine hits and three RBIs.
