The Chugiak Chinooks (12-23) took down the Anchorage Bucs (25-17) 10-3 on Tuesday at Loretta French Field after slamming the Anchorage Bucs with seven runs in the third inning.
The Chugiak Chinooks scored in the third on an RBI triple by William Arendt, an RBI single by Jonathan Popadics, a two-run double by Steven Karkenny, an RBI single by Kyle Conkle, a wild pitch, and an RBI double by Josh Altmann.
Arendt racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Chugiak Chinooks.
Thomas Altimont's five strikeouts helped the Chugiak Chinooks to the victory. Altimont allowed two earned runs on four hits and four walks over six innings.
Jonathan Youngblood put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Anchorage Bucs. He doubled in the third and seventh innings.
Kyle Davis couldn't get it done on the mound for the Anchorage Bucs, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in two innings, walked none and struck out none.
