Sunday was a great day for Daniel Przeniczny, as Przeniczny threw a shutout to carry the Chugiak Chinooks (13-25) to a 6-0 victory over the Anchorage Glacier Pilots (20-22) at Loretta French Field.
Przeniczny held the Anchorage Glacier Pilots scoreless during his nine innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on four hits while ringing up seven.
The Chugiak Chinooks' bats came to life in the eighth inning. In the inning the Chugiak Chinooks scored four runs.
Mark Lindsay racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Chugiak Chinooks. He singled in the sixth inning and doubled in the eighth inning.
Grant Gunning (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed two runs.
