Viers helps the Anchorage Glacier Pilots down the Peninsula Oilers 9-4

Kevin Viers knocked in three runs as the Anchorage Glacier Pilots (18-19) took home a 9-4 victory over the Peninsula Oilers (18-21) at Coral Seymour Memorial Park on Monday.

He tripled in the first innings and singled in the ninth inning.

Jeff Paschke had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the seventh and eighth innings.

Dallas DeVrieze pitched eight innings and allowed two earned runs, four hits and seven walks while striking out four.

Justin Dellinger got the win, running his season record to 2-2. Dellinger struck out one, walked one and gave up no hits.

Cody Richey (2-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
