Offense would be the story of the game yet again for both teams.  The River Bandits would shoot out to a 5-2 lead at the end of the first period. Bryce Stenstrom would put up a hat trick in the first period. Cam Fisher would also put up a goal to add to his season totals. Cory Bussing, an unlikely goal scorer, would go coast to coast, shredding the Rhinelander defense to score the 5th goal of the period.

The second would be all Rhinelander. Three unanswered goals would be put up by the Wisconsin squad. Peter Carlin would tally his hat-trick goal. Devan Vander Wyk would deposit two goals to tie the game at 5. Brodie Wilson would try to put life back in his team with a fight for the Bandits, but  this would be to no avail.

In the third, Cam Fisher would take the same approach as Wilson did. This time it would be with a different result, giving the Bandits what they needed giving the Bandits what they needed to get the game winner. The goal would be scored by the Bandits Captain Alexander Devries. The Bandits would add insult to injury with an empty net goal by Parker Michels.
