Norman Tobin Joins the River Bandits Recruiting Staff

Norm played his minor hockey in Toronto in the M.T.H.L with St. Mikes and the Young Nationals, followed by a few years with the Bolton Bruins. Norm started his Junior career, with the Caledon Flyers Jr. C for 2 years and then 2 years with the Bramalea Blues Jr. B team.

 

After a successful junior career Norm attended the Boston Bruins NHL rookie camp as a free agent. He finally got a chance in the ECHL with the Johnstown Chiefs. He moved on to the SUHL with the Jacksonville Bullets and finished up his career with the St.Thomas Wildcats, Detroit Falcons and Flint Generals. Norm played a rough and tough style which took its toll on his body.

 

 Norm is married with a beautiful wife and 2 children Jordan and Sarah.  He is active in the community with his sons hockey team the TNT Tornados. Norm and his family now reside North of Toronto in Hockley Valley.
